Plans?

First of all if we're going to be blogging we're going to be using our own names when we post.  No anonymous "Beards and Bacon" postings.  Second of all we need to establish a direction we're going to be striving towards.  Is this going to be a fitness blog?  Is this going to be a nonsense blog?  Are we going to try and establish a cult following?  Are we going to still remember this exists in a months time?  Are we going to be serious?

These are samples of the ground rules that we have to talk about Dragonov.  (For those of you that don't know I affectionately call Steven Drago "Dragonov" because I feel it invokes an aura of badassery)

Also if your friend is going to be listed on the blog and it is going to be fitness based and we are going to be serious he needs to do cardio write ups.

Come at me bro.

  1. Well I would like to get serious, I would also like to remember that this is here in more of a months worth of time. I would like it to be a blog of Manliness and fitness, something to not only help us be the best that we can be, but also a resource for everyone to become a better person. Also perhaps to keep us on our goals and strive to get even better. We don't have to be super serious but we can be.

I would also like to have an area of the blog that focuses on the proper ways to life and maybe we can make some instructional videos, another thing I find is that while a lot of people want to tell you what to do with lifting and how to be better, they just never get there. So maybe make sample plans that people can actually follow instead of Hey let's do this and maybe some of this and OH a little of this. Most of these fitness blogs are too vague and don't really give much insight or are like Hey this guy said this on this forum. Maybe we should write up some articles and get some serious facts about how they work and how it can work for you and cite some references and not just the "take my word for it, have you seen these pecks!" approach.

I will try to get Ryan(jmconner) to post about cardio as well as he likes to go a little insane with that. He also took some classes in fitness if I remember right so he might be able to secure slightly more insights into things or he's just insane. either way, he'll add much needed info.

  2. I'm not sure we're qualified to make any sort of instructional videos lol. If that's the route you want to take maybe we can get there though. Lets start by introducing ourselves and if nothing else we should describe our lifts and gauge our progress. Even if no one reads this we still have some accountability for one another this way.

  3. Well I never said we were qualified, I would like to show people proper form, even if we have to link to it, but I know the dangers of not doing proper form and what it can do to your body.
